JLPT – N3/ NAT- TEST 3Q

The JLPT N3 and NAT-TEST 3Q represent intermediate levels of Japanese proficiency, designed for those who have moved beyond basic conversation and wish to handle more complex communication in daily life, study, and work. JLPT N3 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test - N3 Level)

The NAT-TEST 3Q is equivalent to the JLPT N3 and measures the same level of proficiency. You will be expected to know around 650 kanji and 4,000 vocabulary words, similar to the JLPT N3 requirements. The NAT-TEST 3Q evaluates:

  • Grammar and Vocabulary: Mastery of intermediate-level grammar and expressions, allowing for more nuanced communication in a variety of situations.
  • Reading Comprehension: Ability to read and understand moderately difficult texts, including articles, letters, and opinion pieces that incorporate intermediate kanji and vocabulary.
  • Listening Comprehension: You’ll be able to follow natural-speed conversations and understand dialogues in everyday life, workplace settings, and short narratives.
